Joint DESY/UHH perspectives in detector research
The first detector research workshop brought together over 60 detector scientists from different institutes and groups all over the DESY Hamburg campus, which presented their visions on future detector R&D as well as their larger scale detector development/characterization infrastructure. After overview presentations from institute representatives, selected research project have been presented in detail. At the end, a focus has been put on potential synergies between different institutes and research projects by presenting common infrastructures, system components and software solutions. During the closing reception, the participants had lively exchanges and further discussed potential collaborations.
